Francisco E. Chacho Corte, 41, of Springs was arrested by East Hampton Town Police at around 9 on Sunday morning and charged with misdemeanor aggravated DWI. Police said Chacho Corte was driving north on Springs Fireplace Road in an erratic manner, forcing other drivers to pull off the road, leading to a traffic stop. The arresting officer reported that Chacho Corte appeared intoxicated and failed roadside sobriety tests, leading to his arrest. Steven Michael Sesto, 41, of Islip was arrested and charged with felony DWI by East Hampton Village Police a little after midnight on October 22. A DWI charge rises from a misdemeanor to a felony when the defendant has a prior conviction of DWI within the past 10 years. Sesto was also charged with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle in the second-degree, a misdemeanor. Christopher Ryder, 63, of Montauk was arrested by East Hampton Town Police last Thursday night on a felony charge of DWI. Police said Ryder was driving a 2001 Ford Explorer west on Montauk Highway in Montauk near the Hither Hills overlook and was swerving repeatedly across lane lines, both the white fog line on the right and the double yellow line on the left.
