EAST HAMPTON — A Springs man, Andrew M. Crozier, 64, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police on a charge of leaving the scene of an accident where there was a personal injury as a first offense, a misdemeanor, on February 3. Police said that Crozier was headed north a little before 6 a.m. in a 2014 Ford cargo van when he rear-ended a vehicle stopped at a red light at North Main and Cedar streets. WAINSCOTT — A Hampton Bays man, Joseph A. Pita, 53, was charged by East Hampton Town Police with assault in the third-degree, a misdemeanor, last Thursday morning, after an altercation at an industrial worksite in Wainscott. Police said Pita punched a fellow worker in the face, knocking a tooth loose and causing cutting, bleeding and bruising to the victim, leading to the arrest. The incident occurred at 7:22 in the morning, police said. EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — On New Year’s Day morning, shortly before dawn, Village Police received a report of a pickup truck being driven recklessly eastbound on Main Street.
