An officer tracked the man down, who was running from the train station to Pantigo Road. The man said he was from Quogue, and had a court date in East Hampton that he needed to make, hence his running in the street. EAST HAMPTON — Braulio Camillo Padilla Romero, 35, of East Hampton was charged by East Hampton Town Police with felony assault in the second-degree late in the afternoon of October 9. Police said that on the previous afternoon, Padilla Romero had struck a teenager with a “long wooden stick wrapped in brown leather multiple times on his legs and arms.” “The actions of the defendant resulted in welts and bruises to the victim’s legs and arms, causing substantial pain and swelling,” the criminal complaint reads. EAST HAMPTON VILLAGE — Two South Setauket residents were arrested on felony drug charges by East Hampton Village Police on Sunday night after a traffic stop near the intersection of Collins Avenue and Accabonac Road. According to police, Tamara Danielle Cass, 40, and James Robert Rodriguez, 43, were in a 2005 Dodge Caravan when they were pulled over, with Cass driving and Rodriguez in the passenger seat.
