MONTAUK — Wilmer F. Guachamin Aguirre, 35, was arrested on a felony charge of criminal contempt in the first degree at a residence the morning of October 28. Police said that Guachamin Aguirre violated a court order of protection that had been issued by East Hampton Town Justice David Filer after an arrest in September. MONTAUK — A woman approached a police officer during the Montauk Halloween children’s parade on Main Street to report that a man on a bicycle was approaching and making inappropriate comments to “juvenile females.” The officer looked around and soon located a man matching the description. The officer spoke with the man, a Montauk resident, and advised him not to interact with “unknown juvenile females.” The man agreed and rode away. An officer tracked the man down, who was running from the train station to Pantigo Road. The man said he was from Quogue, and had a court date in East Hampton that he needed to make, hence his running in the street. EAST HAMPTON — Braulio Camillo Padilla Romero, 35, of East Hampton was charged by East Hampton Town Police with felony assault in the second-degree late in the afternoon of October 9. Police said that on the previous afternoon, Padilla Romero had struck a teenager with a “long wooden stick wrapped in brown leather multiple times on his legs and arms.” “The actions of the defendant resulted in welts and bruises to the victim’s legs and arms, causing substantial pain and swelling,” the criminal complaint reads.
