MONTAUK — A domestic dispute on the grounds of the Montauk Yacht Club early Labor Day morning led to the arrest of a Brooklyn man on three misdemeanor charges by the East Hampton Town Police. Quentin A. Hosten, 26, was involved in a dispute with another person, according to police, when he choked that person and prevented them from leaving or calling for help. MONTAUK — A 78-year-old Montauk resident, Timothy D. Sauers, was charged by New York State Police on August 28 with two counts of possession of a sexual performance by a child, a felony. Police said that Sauers had two sexually explicit videos that investigators had retrieved from a computer hard drive at his Montauk residence. Both videos showed a man making sexual contact with a girl who appeared to be 8 years old or younger, police said. Sauers pleaded not guilty to the charges during his arraignment last Thursday. MONTAUK — An altercation in the parking lot of Ruschmeyer’s on Second House Road early Saturday morning resulted in two men being arrested, one charged with a felony. Odhran A. Coyle, 22, of Fayetteville, North Carolina, was charged with criminal mischief in the third degree. East Hampton Town Police said that during the altercation, Coyle ripped off the back windshield wiper of a late-model Honda SUV. The damage was estimated to exceed the $250 threshold that triggers the felony charge. Farez Dominguez, 21, was arrested by East Hampton Town Police on a charge of assault in the third degree, a misdemeanor, after an altercation at a party at a residence on Ocean Parkway East at about 10 p.m. on Saturday.
