Harry Goodale of East Hampton died on March 28 at the Hampton Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing in Southampton. He was 74.

Born in 1935 to Harry and Clara Browngardt Goodale in East Hampton, he owned and operated his own floor sanding business.

He is survived by two sons, John Goodale of Fulton, New York, and Harry Goodale II of Ohio; a daughter 
Anne Beal of Ohio; and three grandchildren, Kelly and Eric Barnes of 
Illinois and Emma Goodale of Shelter Island.

Two brothers, Ezra Goodale and Richard Goodale, predeceased him.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the O’Connell Funeral Home in Southampton. The family is planning a memorial service at a later date.
