Michael Duer Wiegand of East Hampton dies at 57

Michael Duer Wiegand of East Hampton died on September 10 at his home.

Born March 3, 1952, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Marie Louise (née O’Brien) and George Wiegand, he was 57.

He is survived by his wife, Valerie (née Doran) Wiegand of East Hampton; a son, Michael Duer Wiegand Jr. of East Hampton; two siblings, George Wiegand and M.L. Williams, both of California; a nephew, Danny; and two nieces, Colleen and Michelle.

A private memorial service will be held in Nevis, West Indies, in December.
