The East Hampton/Pierson/Bridgehampton girls indoor track team may have finished last at the League III Championships at Suffolk County Community College in Brentwood on Friday, but they set many new personal bests and a new school record — was not broken once, but twice, in the same meet. C.J. Echavarria initially broke Grace Brosnan’s 2019 school record in the first heat of the 55-meter high hurdles, crossing the finish line in 9.79 seconds, but that only lasted mere minutes.
