Red Envelope Express

When the Amagansett School Board extended Richard Loeschner on July 9, he was to be used for “transition services to the superintendent of schools.” He has worked a recorded five days of his not-to-exceed 20 days contract. He allegedly somehow already worked on July 2, though his contract for being interim superintendent expired June 30.

Two more of the dates he was allegedly helping Michael Rodgers with this “transition,” Richard Loeschner would be testifying during the Maria Dorr hearing (the last scheduled hearing date, November 20). Loeschner will be paid at the tune of $1,000 a day.

This appears to be the School Board giving a gift of public funds. Or did the board have any extra written agreement as per the contract to pay him to testify? That, in my opinion, seems like it would be extortion.

Red envelope express.

Still here.
