Lifelong East Hampton resident Robert B. Kulp died on December 7 at Southampton Hospital after a short illness. He was 60.
Born in East Hampton on December 14, 1947, to Janet Norton (née McGuire) and Myron Lyle Dean Kulp, he attended East Hampton High School. He worked as a master carpenter and was a member of Ducks Unlimited.
In addition to his wife, Debra J. (née Ducharme) Kulp, he is survived by a son, Jason P. Kulp, and a daughter, Rhonda Daniels, both of East Hampton; a sister, Jill Baker of East Hampton; and two brothers, Jack O. Kulp of Florida and Jeffery Kulp; seven grandchildren; and 18 nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by both his parents, a daughter, Dawn A Kulp, and a brother, Richard A. Kulp.
Cremation was on December 8. Funeral services, officiated by the Reverend Carmen Margarita Ortiz, will be held on Saturday, December 13, at 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church of East Hampton. The family also plans a graveside memorial, to be announced in a future edition of The Press.
