In Bianca Gorman's and Mary Schiavoni’s kindergarten class at Sag Harbor Elementary School, students gave a presentation to their schoolmates about the Lunar New Year during Morning Program. The class told the story of how the 12 zodiac animals were chosen and made a stop-motion animation video. To further their learning, they practiced using chopsticks to eat their snacks, which included a feast of dumplings, noodles,
oranges and goldfish crackers. The kindergarteners also made lanterns with their fifth grade buddies. COURTESY SAG HARBOR SCHOOL DISTRICT
