To honor what P.S. I Love You Day, Pierson Middle School students, including Simone Friedman, spread mental health awareness and a message of understanding among their peers. Students collectively sold purple T-shirts to their peers featuring the 2025 P.S. I Love You Day theme, “A Brighter Tomorrow Begins Today,” with a whale’s tail emerging from the water under the sun. The student council also made daily announcements during the week reminding students about the importance of mental health and staying positive. On Friday, students wore their purple shirts and received bracelets with affirming messages. To further support this day of sharing love and awareness, they also wrote positive messages on sticky notes and placed them on each other’s lockers. COURTESY SAG HARBOR SCHOOL DISTRICT
