Sag Harbor School District bus driver Donna Skrezec recently visited the pre-K class at Sag Harbor Learning Center to talk about bus safety. With Skrezec’s help, the students learned how to buckle their seatbelts, the importance of remaining in their seats while the bus is in motion and where to locate the eight emergency exits. “The students even practiced jumping off the back of the bus in case of an emergency and used the bus phone to call the dispatcher,” said teacher Kara Romeo.
