Applications are now being accepted for ReWild Long Island’s summer program to Fight Hunger and Climate Change in East Hampton. Students in grades eight through 12 are eligible to sign up as interns or volunteers and get valuable experience in environmental stewardship at a dozen non-profit organizations in and around East Hampton, including: Share the Harvest Farm, the Village Green, Methodist Lane Bioswales, LongHouse Reserve, East Hampton Compost and the Matthew Lester Memorial Garden at the East Hampton Historical Farm Museum. The East Hampton Ladies Village Improvement Society will hold its annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 12, on the organization’s grounds at 95 Main Street in East Hampton Village. The Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 11 a.m., but participants are encouraged to get there early with a basket or other receptacle to hold the collected candy-filled egg.
