Stanley T. Strong II Of Hampton Bays Dies November 1

Stanley T. Strong III

Stanley T. Strong III of Hampton Bays died on November 1 at Southampton Hospital. He was 60.

Born and raised in Sagaponack to Stanley T. Strong Jr. and Sylvia Strong Bennett, he comes from a long line of potato farmers, and survivors said dirt was in his blood. He was a volunteer with the Southampton Veterans Memorial Ambulance Club for 16 years.

He is survived by his wife Debbie; four children, Lisa Marie and her fiancé Taobi Silva, Stanley T. Strong IV and his wife Kim of Virginia, James T. Strong and his girlfriend Brittney Smith of Hampton Bays, and Kyle M. Strong and his wife Adela of East Quogue. His is also survived by four grandchildren, Kayla (9), Bradley (7), Kyle Jr. (5), and Dominic (11 months); a brother, Thomas and his wife Nina of East Hampton; a nephew, Thomas Strong Jr.; and a niece, Britiney. He was predeceased by his parents.

Graveside services, under the direction of the Brockett Funeral Home, were conducted by Rev. Michael Smith at Wainscott Cemetery.
