East Hampton Hurricane swim coach Tom Cohill was the inaugural male recipient of the the Charles Van Der Horst Memorial Award. Laura Gunderson was the female recipient.
Participants of this year's Swim For The Cure ranged from 7 to 79 years old.
There were a number of young swimmers on hand from the Hurricane swim team at this year's event.
