The wind farm developer Orsted pledged to conduct two years of baseline surveys of spring fish migrations through the waters off the South Fork, where baymen like the Lester family target striped bass from the ocean beaches, but the company is now saying it will only be able to do one year of surveys before construction of the wind farm begins.
