WLIW-FM radio program "Broadway to Main Street" is devoted to music that began on the Broadway stage.
On May 19, host Larry Maslon dives into Black musicals of the 1970s in anticipation of the "Great Performances" premiere "Purlie Victorious: A Non-Confederate Romp Through the Cotton Patch" (5/24 at 9 p.m. on THIRTEEN).
