Chess At 3

Description:

Schedule a child or group of children weekly (or more often) to meet with one of our tutors to learn chess or role-playing games through creative story telling, games, and riddles.

Chess at Three offers a range of programs, all based on the unifying principle that children can learn anything through fun, well-crafted stories. These include chess for ages three and up and role-playing games for children of school-going age.
Chess at Three focuses just as much on empathy, self-confidence, and sportsmanship as nuts-and-bolts gameplay.
We believe it's our responsibility to give kids the skills they‘ll need to succeed in every arena and reap the intellectual and developmental benefits that our programs so readily provide.

Chess at Three is our signature, award-winning program that teaches children complex subjects through the art of storytelling. Our program is unique in that children fall in love with the game of chess by learning through our story-based curriculum, designed to captivate any young mind. Following a cast of quirky, memorable characters through the magical world of Chesslandia, students swiftly become successful chess players while developing critical thinking, strategy, and problem-solving skills.

Birchguard Quest is a children's role-playing game set in the fantasy world of Arborheim. Students create characters and team up with others to solve puzzles and defeat monsters, making evidence-based decisions and strategic dice rolls as they play.

Expert teachers guide students through an interactive story in which the kids are the main characters. Like true heroes, students experience success, learn from mistakes, and adapt with the ever-changing story.
