A cataract occurs when your eye’s natural lens becomes cloudy. Proteins in your lens break down and cause your vision to blur or become less colorful. Dr. Robert Honkanen, Chairman of the Ophthalmology Department at Stony Brook Medicine, will discuss the symptoms, causes, diagnosis, and the latest advances to treat cataracts which can help to keep your vision crystal clear.
