Join Us for Holy Week at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Bridgehampton
St. Ann’s Episcopal Church on Main Street in Bridgehampton will begin Holy Week services on Sunday, April 13th with joyous Palm Sunday services at 8:30 and 10:00 a.m., to celebrate Christ’s triumphal entry into Jerusalem, welcomed by crowds waving palms to greet and honor him. St. Ann’s renowned choir will sing at both services, and there will be a Hospitality Hour in the Parish House following the 10:00 a.m. service. Join us for this lovely, reverential service: all are welcome.
During Holy Week, St. Ann’s will also offer many other unique worship services. On Thursday, April 17, we will observe Maundy Thursday, commemorating the Last Supper, with a service at 6:00 p.m. at the Church.
On Good Friday, April 18th at Noon St. Ann’s will have a service of the Stations of the Cross, with images depicting Jesus Christ as he walked the Via Dolorosa to Mount Calvary on the day of his crucifixion. If you have not had the opportunity to participate in this brief but lovely service, please join us. Later, at 5:00 p.m., we will have the service of The Passion of Our Lord Jesus Christ with a Eucharist. St. Ann’s Choir will sing.
On Saturday, April 19th, the Easter Vigil will begin at 5:00 p.m.
And on Easter Sunday, April 20th, St. Ann’s will have services at 9:00 and 11:00 a.m. The Choir will sing at both services, and there will be a special Hospitality Hour between the two services in the Parish House.
