Accord a cappella choir will perform a special Mother's Day/Earth Day concert to benefit the Matthew Lester Pollinator Garden. The superb 9 voice treble choir sings music from a wide variety of styles, eras, and cultures, from Renaissance madrigals and masses to choral "classics" to modern choral works. Guests are invited to attend the concert, the dinner, or both. Dinner will be catered by Bonfire Coffeehouse, where silent auction items will be available.
Matthew Lester was a young man whose interest in bee keeping inspired an Eagle Scout project to create a pollinator garden at East Hampton's Farm Museum on North Main Street. Matthew left this world too young, but supporting this event will help the Farm Museum buy plants and maintain Matthew's garden.
Tickets for the concert or dinner are each $20, attend both for $35. The concert will be from 5-6:30 in the sanctuary, dinner in the Session House will be served immediately afterward. Purchase tickets after Sunday church services or online.
