Description:

Joyce Raimondo, Education Coordinator in conversation with Helen Harrison, Director, explore Jackson Pollock’s alcoholism and its impact on his art and life. This session is given on the anniversary week of Pollock and passenger Edith Metzger’s death caused by a fatal car accident as a result of Pollock driving while intoxicated on August 11, 1956. Following the art presentation, Joyce will present statistics of drunk driving in the USA and what can be done to prevent the tragic loss of life brought about by drunk driving.
