He was a full-time choir director and guitar instructor in the Brentwood public schools for thirty-seven years and currently directs an after-school guitar program for Brentwood High School. He is well versed in classical, rock, blues and jazz styles of playing, and has performed professionally in those styles. Over the years Ron has maintained an active performing career. Mike Sharp -guitar/vocals Born in North London and inspired by the 60s Folk and Skiffle boom, Michael picked up playing the guitar as a teenager and was soon playing both keyboards and guitar with local bands, including one with Nick Lowe. In his 20s he emigrated to the US and has been part of the Long Island Music Scene ever since, playing in bands such as The Soul Brothers, Boss Ross Blues, The John Ford Band, The Phantom Blues Band, 12 Gauge Country, The Barking Men, and currently Project 20. Mike has his own project recording studio on the North Shore of Long Island and has engineered records for Blue Ruin, Scott Ross and other local artists.
