Mark your calendars for Saturday, February 8, as the Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce invites both locals and visitors to experience this beloved winter festival that’s been warming hearts since 2011.
Kick off the festivities with an exclusive cocktail party on Friday, February 7 at 5:30 P.M., at the iconic Sag Harbor Cinema. Open to Chamber members and community members, this ticketed event will give guests a true taste of the town from local restaurants during “A Winter Taste of Sag Harbor,” accompanied by drink specials at the Cinema's Green Room Bar. This fabulous evening doubles as a fundraiser supporting the dazzling lineup of Saturday's events!
“HarborFrost has become a winter tradition in Sag Harbor,” Sag Harbor Chamber of Commerce President Ellen Dioguardi said. “We’re delighted the Chamber will once again be presenting Saturday night fireworks by Grucci off of Long Wharf and a Friday night opening cocktail party”.
On Saturday, festivities will unfold from 1 to 6 p.m., featuring an array of exciting activities. The highlight of the day? An awe-inspiring firework display by Grucci, the world-renowned pyrotechnic artist will kick off the show at approximately 5:30 p.m. Enjoy the breathtaking view as you revel in the camaraderie of your community!
Watch as Richard Daly from Ice Melodies captivates audiences with his enchanting ice carving demonstrations. Catch him showcasing his craft at both Long Wharf and the southern end of Main Street, his exquisite sculptures adorning the village once again, courtesy of Sag Harbor Chamber members. As the sun sets, thrill to the mesmerizing performance by the Fiery Sensations – a stunning troupe of fire dancers who will light up Windmill Beach, creating a fantastical atmosphere that’s sure to leave you spellbound.
The joyful sounds of live music will fill the air along Main Street, with many local businesses joining in on the celebration by offering exclusive specials for HarborFrost attendees.
