The Sag Harbor Whaling & Historical Museum is proud to present an exhibit of over thirty photographs by local resident Mel Jackson, capturing the people and places we know and love during the mid-1950s… a time of malt shops and bomb shelters, of rock-and-roll and cars with fins, of John Wayne and Marilyn Monroe - and President Dwight D. Eisenhower keeping a watchful eye on it all.
