Southampton Artists Association
2025 Winter Art Exhibit
30 students from the Southampton High School art department, once again, will join members of the Southampton Artists Association for the annual SAA winter show. Side by side, 9th to12th graders will present paintings, drawings, digital art and self portraits. Some of the work exhibited is part of students' portfolios for submission to colleges and art schools after high school.
Art teachers, Pam Collins and Justine Moody, who coordinate the student display, teach a rich variety of art forms including painting, stage set design, murals, portraiture, digital art and ceramics. Additionally, the students participate in the Parrish Collaborative Club. This year they’ll work with visiting multi-disciplinary artist, Andrea Cote, from the Parrish Art Museum.
The SAA Winter Show runs from February 20 through March 2. There will be a reception to meet the artists, Saturday, February 22, 4-6 PM at the Levitas Center for the Arts gallery at the Southampton Cultural Center, 25 Pond Lane, Southampton, across from Agawam Park in the village.
