On Saturday, July 27, at 5 pm. acclaimed poets Grace Schulman, Philip Schultz and Jill Bialosky will read at Canio's Books.
Grace Schulman has published nine collections of poetry, including Again, the Dawn: New and Selected Poems, 1976-2022, and Days of Wonder: New and Selected Poems. Her collection of essays, First Loves and Other Adventures , reflects on her life as a writer and reader. She received the 2016 Frost Medal for Distinguished Lifetime Achievement in American Poetry, awarded by the Poetry Society of America. In 2019, she was inducted as member of the American Academy of Arts and Letters.
She has a home in East Hampton.

Philip Schultz, founding director of The Writers Studio, has published numerous volumes of poetry, most recently The Wherewithall, and Luxury. He's written two memoirs: My Dyslexia, and Comforts of the Abyss. In 2008, his poetry collection Failure won a Pulitzer. He has a home in East Hampton

Jill Bialosky is a poet, novelist, essayist, and book editor. Her most recent work is Asylum, A Personal, Historical, Natural Inquiry in 103 Lyric Sections. She is an Executive Editor and Vice President at W. W. Norton & Company. In 2014 she was honored by the Poetry Society of America for her distinguished contribution to poetry. She has also written memoir: History of a Suicide, and a memoir in essays, How Poetry Can Save Your Life. She has a home in Southampton.
