CURATORS QUOTE
‘2025. Our second year in East Hampton after 8 years in Bridge. For the first exhibit of the new year, we wanted to do a collective of artists new and old. It is a wonderful mix of the four mediums the gallery represents – painting, photography, mixed and sculpture. We predicted a fantastic year but thought it might be fun to see what other predictions are out there. Nostradamus is all doom and gloom so let’s skip him. Teleportation seems to be on the agenda. Early stages. So don’t start packing yet. Less dementia, diabetes and side effects of cancer treatments - great news. J-Lo looking for love – that can’t have a good ending. The sun’s energy harvested more efficiently to help abate global warming – wonderful. The Diddy trial - not so much.
But back to art. Blank walls are just that, blank. Walls with art take you on a journey - engaging, inspiring, remembering, wondering, questioning, enjoying and in all likelihood appreciating. We know everyone has their own taste and this exhibit of ‘What’s Not To Love’ respects the diversity of styles that entice. As we mentioned in our holiday card, art lovers live longer. 10 years longer by CNN’s estimation. So, here’s to longevity.’
