author27east on Apr 1, 2008

Dining on the East End," an ?annual fund-raising program benefitting East End Hospice, is the perfect opportunity for hungry—and bargain conscious—Hamptonites who would like to add a side order of charitable contribution to their plates.

The ninth annual program, which allows users to purchase "buy one, get one free" entrée coupon booklets for deals at various participating East End restaurants, will run through March 31, 2009. Booklets are $100 each and all proceeds go directly to East End Hospice, a state certified hospice that provides ?individualized treatment to terminally ill patients and their families ?on eastern Long Island.

Some 42 restaurants have opted to participate in the Dining on the East End program this year, including nine new additions: 75 Main in Southampton Village, Annona in Westhampton, Blackwell's and Michael Anthony's Food Bar in Wading River, Foody's in Water Mill, Four Doors Down in Mattituck, Il Capuccino in Sag Harbor, The Lodge in East Hampton and Paul's Restaurant in Speonk.

For a complete listing of participating restaurants, more information about the program, or to purchase coupon booklets, call 288-7080, or visit www.eeh.org.
