Special Deals All Winter Long

On Thursday nights at The 1770 House Restaurant & Inn, the dining deal is in the name.

This winter, through April 9, a selection of dishes on Chef Michael Rozzi’s menu are specially priced at $17.70, from his signature St. Louis pork ribs, vegetarian curry of chickpea and sweet potato, and pizza margherita to the 1770 House classic burger and meatloaf.

Alongside its nightly menu, the East Hampton establishment will also offer a $38 three-course prix fixe, which includes popular a la carte dishes, as well as $9 wine and $5 beer selections.

“At the core of Rozzi’s menus is local bounty,” according to a press release, “with New American cuisine that changes with the season.”

Winter appetizers, which range from $14 to $25, may include spicy Montauk fluke tartare, wild mushroom vol au vent, seared Hudson Valley foie gras, and salads with local beets and sunflower sprouts, or shaved Brussels sprouts.

Among the entrées, from $34 to $48, standout dishes are the monkfish osso buco, Scottish salmon à la plancha, hand-cut fettuccine with Burgundy truffle, California rabbit leg braised with North African spices, and braised Berkshire pork cheeks. And on the dessert menu, don’t miss Rozzi’s signature pumpkin crème brulée and warm cider donuts with cinnamon gelato. Selections range from $12 to $14.

The 1770 House is at 143 Main Street in East Hampton. For more information, call 631-324-1770 or visit 1770house.com.
