‘Let’s Get Cooking With Chef Alex’
R.AIRE at The Hampton Maid in Hampton Bays will host “Let’s Get Cooking With Chef Alex,” a fun and interactive cooking class. Choose from either Sunday, March 3, or Sunday, March 10, classes, both of which will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Chef Alex Bujoreanu will guide participants through the process of making authentic tapas and paella. Each dish will be complemented with a glass of wine. After the class, participants will have the opportunity to enjoy the fruits of their labor while hanging out with Chef Alex and fellow classmates. Jamie Diamond Talks Art
Almond Restaurant’s “Artists & Writers” winter dinner series continues on Monday, March 4, at 6:30 p.m. with performance artist, writer and filmmaker Jamie Diamond. A three-course family style meal will be served with one glass of wine or beer for $49 plus gratuity.
Jamie Diamond is a performance artist, photographer and filmmaker living and working in New York. Since 2008, Diamond has been an active professional visual artist and educator in Philadelphia at the University of Pennsylvania, mounting national and international exhibitions. At the core of her work is the evolving nature of human connection and intimacy. Her work has been the focus of exhibitions in Hong Kong, Germany, Canada, Italy, Denmark, New York City and Massachusetts. Diamond is a recipient of the NYFA Fellowship Award in Photography, artist in residence at The Bronx Museum, Mana Residencies program, LMCC Swing Space residency and Work Space residency and received the Toby Devan Lewis Fellowship Award. Her work has been featured in numerous publications.

“Love Bites” For Katy’s Courage
The Clubhouse Hamptons will host “Love Bites,” an annual tasting and dancing event to benefit Katy’s Courage, on Saturday, March 23, from 7 to 10 p.m.
The event will honor Juliette Logie, Cheryl Labrozzi McMahon and Marianne Ward, and will feature unlimited tastings from over 20 of the Hamptons top chefs, beer, wine and specialty drinks, music by DJ Michael, a silent auction, raffles and more.

Katy’s Courage is a not-for-profit organization honoring Katy Stewart, an inspirational 12-year-old Sag Harbor girl who died from a rare form of pediatric liver cancer. The organization is dedicated to supporting education, children’s bereavement support and pediatric cancer research through multiple fundraising events.

A Night at the Oscars
Canoe Place Inn & Cottages will host “Oscar Night Live at Canoe Place,” on Sunday, March 10, from 6 to 11 p.m. Guests are invited to join PBS critics Bill McCuddy, Lisa Rosman and Neil Rosen for a night filled with movie magic. A specialty prix-fixe menu and Oscar-themed drinks will be served as guests enjoy the Academy Awards on a 15-foot screen. Hosts will provide banter, share their predictions and offer movie-themed prizes throughout the event, with a grand prize going to the attendee with the most correct categories on the ballot.
