Parisian Brunch in Sag Harbor

In celebration of the Olympics and all things French, Baron’s Cove is offering a Parisian Brunch menu that is being served overlooking the pool and harbor. Complete with live jazz and harbor views, the brunch will be served on Saturdays and Sundays from 11:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

On top of its usual iconic brunch choices, savor dishes such as the French Omelette ($26) with Gruyère cheese and caviar, Quiche du Jour ($27), or go all-out with the Seafood Plateau ($130) which will satisfy diners through the afternoon. If a brunch cocktail is what you’re looking for, the Baron’s Cove French Blonde cocktail was made to celebrate the launch of the Parisian brunch and is being served alongside the French 75 and Hugo Spritz. To accompany the food and drinks, live jazz music sets the perfect ambiance for the scene. As always, brunch at Baron’s will continue to be offered with live entertainment each weekend, with the Parisian Brunch available through the fall as weather permits. Baron’s Cove is at 31 West Water Street, Sag Harbor. For more information, visit caperesorts.com/barons-cove/dining.

A Night of Haute Cuisine at John’s Pancake House

Chef Christopher Watts, known for his culinary prowess, and caviar connoisseur Michael Passmore are coming together for a one-of-a-kind dining experience that redefines laid-back luxury. On Friday, August 16, from 6 to 9:30 p.m., the pair will partner with Sparkling Pointe wine, the North Fork’s only sparkling wine producer, to host an intimate 7-course caviar-focused dinner at the iconic John’s Pancake House in Montauk — a venue that perfectly captures the essence of laid-back Long Island charm.

This isn’t a typical high-end caviar affair. The event is about breaking conventions, proving that true opulence is about quality and good company, not just the setting. As seen in Jerry Seinfeld’s “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee,” John’s Pancake House provides a nostalgic, welcoming atmosphere where guests can enjoy world-class food without the formality.

With only 50 seats available, this is an opportunity for diners to experience haute cuisine with expertly paired bubbly in a truly unexpected setting. Tickets are $500 at passmorecaviar.com under “events.” John’s Pancake House is at 721 Montauk Highway in Montauk.

Host a Mobile Pizza Party

After a successful first summer in the Hamptons, Motorino Mobile is now accepting bookings for the fall season. The custom-built wood fired mobile trailer features Neapolitan-style pizzas and is perfect for all celebrations including bridal showers, birthday parties, rehearsal dinners, weddings, business gatherings and more. Motorino Mobile is also now offering a beverage service with a bar featuring wine barrel, and events can customize the drink selection to feature a full premium bar, beer and wine, and soft drinks.

Motorino’s seasoned crew of pizza makers arrive with the pizza trailer and set up a full pizza station onsite – complete with refrigeration, tent and lights. It’s as close as it gets to having a pizzeria in your backyard. Guests watch as the team stretches the dough and prepare pies in front of the fire, and then are able to enjoy them straight out of the oven. Motorino serves Brooklyn favorites with special additions from the East End, such as freshly shucked bay clams, summer heirloom tomatoes and local sweet corn.

New seasonal pizza toppings including Portobello mushrooms, truffles, Brussels sprouts, roasted squash and more. For more details, visit motorinopizza.com.

Old Stove Pub Now in Its 55th Year

Classic Hamptons mainstay the Old Stove Pub is now celebrating its 55th year. The iconic restaurant, live music venue, special event space and celebrity favorite features new culinary offerings, special weekly events and a classic menu of Greek favorites.

“The Old Stove Pub holds a special place in the hearts of Hamptonites,” notes owner and operator Joe DeCristofaro. “The history of the pub is so rich, and restoring this property four years ago was a true labor of love. We are proud to continue to present the Old Stove Pub to the community with something special happening every night.”

DeCristofaro, a Southampton native raised on the East End, is a local real estate broker, real estate investor and entrepreneur. A hospitality industry veteran, his past endeavors include numerous restaurants in the Hamptons and elsewhere. Best known for its glowing neon sign, bucking horse statue, porch front piano and the slogan “When You’re Fed Up with the Chic, Come to the Greek” DeCristofaro reopened its famed doors in 2020. Housed in an 1820 farmhouse, the property became an Irish pub in 1967, a Greek restaurant and a steakhouse in 1969. Now, the Old Stove Pub is open year-round for dinner and weekend brunch.

Diners can expect a Greek and Mediterranean influenced and locally sourced menu, featuring some of the Old Stove Pub’s classic dishes such as the Sagaponack dry rubbed steak and Greek salad. Returning guests will find the piano tuned and in its proper spot on the porch, as well as the signature artwork by Larry Rivers still intact in the indoor dining room.

Outdoor dining is offered on the porch and a dedicated tented outdoor dining area during the summer and fall months. Private events may be booked in the tented outdoor space as well.

Weekly events at the Old Stove Pub include: Family Fun on Mondays with games, arts and crafts and face painting; the sushi bar serving Wednesday through Sunday; Pub Night with $12 appetizers, burgers and drink specials on Wednesday and Thursday; Wine Down the Weekend on Sunday with half price bottles of wine served with entrees; live music every weekend.
