Baking Among The Stars

Keith Kouris, owner of the Blue Duck Bakery Cafés in Southampton, Southold, Riverhead and Greenport, was recently named one of the top 10 artisan bread bakers in North America by Dessert Professional magazine.

“Part alchemy, part artistry, making a loaf of bread requires the most technique and precision among all culinary endeavors,” editor Tish Boyle said, “and the men and women on our Top 10 list are among the best bread makers in the country.”
