Thanksgiving Dining And Catering In The Hamptons, 2018

Many East End dining spots are making it easy to skip the cooking part of Thanksgiving and get straight to the best part of the holiday: the eating.

Prix fixes, buffets and take-out are available from a variety of restaurants and caterers offering turkey and all the traditional Thanksgiving fixings—and some not-so-traditional options.

The 1770 House in East Hampton (631-324-1770, 1770house.com) will present a Thanksgiving feast by Executive Chef Michael Rozzi with wine selections by wine director Michael Cohen. From 2 to 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving, a three-course, prix-fixe meal is $95 per person with a $40 two-course option for guests 12 years old and younger. Beverage, tax and gratuity are additional.

The Maidstone in East Hampton, (631-324-5006, themaidstone.com) is open for Thanksgiving at $80 per guest plus an additional $35 for wine pairing by Wilson Daniels. Dinner is $40 for children.

Page at 63 Main in Sag Harbor (631-725-1810, page63main.com) is serving a three-course traditional Thanksgiving dinner from 1 to 7 p.m. The cost is $48 for adults and $28 for children. An a la carte seasonal menu is also available.

Baron’s Cove in Sag Harbor (baronscove.com) will offer Thanksgiving dinner from noon to 9 p.m. The cost is $68, or $26 for children 12 and younger. Children 3 and younger complimentary.

Lulu Kitchen and Bar in Sag Harbor (631-725-0900, lulusagharbor.com) will serve a family-style dinner on Thanksgiving beginning at noon. The regular a la carte menu will also be available. Cost is $34 per person, plus tax and gratuity. Reservations are recommended.

Pierre’s in Bridgehampton (631-537-5110, pierresbridgehampton.com) will be open for Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. with an a la carte menu. Pierre’s Traditional Thanksgiving Turkey for $38 includes organic chicken and pork stuffing with chestnuts and Alsatian spice bread, glazed sweet potato, braised Brussels sprouts and cranberry Cumberland dressing. A kid’s portion is $19. Call to make reservations.

L & W Market in Bridgehampton (631-537-1123, landwmarket.com) will offer a special catering menu. Call or go online to place an order by Sunday, November 18, at 6 p.m. Orders can also be made in person at L & W Market or Almond. Pickups will be on Wednesday, November 21 from 2 to 6 p.m. or on Thanksgiving Day between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.

Claude’s Restaurant at the Southampton Inn (631-283-6500, southamptoninn.com) will serve a three-course traditional feast with all the trimmings plus Executive Chef James Carpenter’s award-winning desserts. The cost is $40 per adult and $25 per child with seatings from 1 to 6 p.m. Call for reservations or book on OpenTable.

Seasons of Southampton in Southampton (631-283-3354, seasonsofsouthampton.com) will serve its annual Thanksgiving buffet including traditional favorites, seafood, pasta, a carving station and desserts. Reservations begin at noon; $39.95 for adults, children $19.95.

Southampton Publick House in Southampton (631-283-2800, publick.com) is offering a three-course prix fixe dinner from 1 to 7 p.m. for $29.95 per person. For children 10 and under, a two-course turkey dinner and dessert menu is $14.95. Reservations strongly suggested.

Tutto il Giorno in Southampton (631-377-3611) and Sag Harbor (631-919-5353) will serve from noon to 9 p.m. Call for reservations and special menus.

The Inn Spot on the Bay in Hampton Bays (631-728-1200, theinnspot.com) will serve a three-course prix fixe dinner for $40 per person. For children 12 and under, a two-course dinner is $25. Reservations are required.

Birchwood in Riverhead (631-727-4449, thebirchwoodofpolishtown.com) will serve a Thanksgiving buffet from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. for $42.95 per adult and $18.95 per child. Buffet includes raw bar, chocolate fountain and Thanksgiving favorites.

Tweeds in Riverhead (631-237-8120, tweedsrestaurantriverhead.com/thanksgiving-menu) will serve a prix fixe Thanksgiving menu prepared by guest Chef Duane Lewin from noon to 9 p.m. for $36 per person. The menu includes a first course, traditional turkey dinner and a delicious desert.

Modern Snack Bar in Aquebogue (631-722-3655, modernsnackbar.com) is offering Thanksgiving dinner sides for pick up on either the Tuesday or Wednesday before Thanksgiving. Visit the website for prices and call to place an order. Menu items include pies, mashed potatoes and more.

East Wind in Wading River (631-846-2335, eastwindlongisland.com/Desmonds-Restaurant) will serve a Thanksgiving buffet from noon to 5 p.m. for $54.95 per person and $29.99 per child.
