Townline Issues Wing Challenge

Townline BBQ in Sagaponack has unveiled the “Wings of Fire” wing challenge.

The challenge is to consume seven of Townline’s ghost pepper wings in seven minutes and endure a seven-minute “burn period” following the wing consumption. During the “burn period,” participants may not consume any other food or beverage, with the exception of beer. A manager or bartender will time and supervise the entire contest and will determine if the challenge was successfully completed. Those who successfully complete the challenge will have their name and photo posted on the Townline BBQ Wall of Fame and the cost of the wings and the beer will be complimentary.

Participants may not use napkins at any time during the challenge and must lick clean any sauce on their hands before the “burn period” begins. All photographs taken during the challenge are property of Townline BBQ for use on social media.

The challenge is available anytime during Townline BBQ’s business hours. Participants must be 21 years old to participate and the wings must be consumed at the bar. For more information, call Townline BBQ at 631-537-2271 or go to townlinebbq.com.
