Union Cantina, the contemporary Mexican restaurant in Southampton Village, is adding a burger bar.
Union Burger Bar, slated to open on Thursday, January 17, will share the space at 40 Bowden Square with Union Cantina. The casual dining room has been renovated to accommodate the new concept.
Under the direction of restaurateur and owner Ian Duke and Executive Chef Scott Kampf, Union Burger Bar will offer specialty gourmet burgers, fresh hand-cut fries, milkshakes and desserts plus a craft beer and small batch bourbon selection. According to a press release, Union Burger Bar, like Union Cantina, will stay open year-round. Beef burgers will be hormone-, antibiotic- and additive-free.
Union Cantina opened in 2016 in the space that formerly was home to the Southampton Publick House, which moved to Jobs Lane.
