authorStaff Writer on Mar 4, 2025

“Design Approaches to Historical Restoration Projects” will be explored at the Nathaniel Rogers House in Bridgehampton on Wednesday, March 12, at 5 p.m.

The seminar on critical considerations and best practices in restoring historical structures while maintaining their integrity is presented by AIA Peconic — the East End chapter of the American Institute of Architects — in partnership with Lipsky Construction and co-hosted by the Bridgehampton Museum.

The seminar is aimed at architects, contractors and preservationists looking to enhance their expertise in historical restoration and apply industry best practices to their projects, according to AIA Peconic, which states that attendees will learn to differentiate between needs and wants, recognize the value of samples and mockups, and understand key restoration concepts.

Tickets are $12 for the public or $10 for AIA Peconic members.

The Nathaniel Rogers House is located at 2539 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton. Register with Eventbrite.
