Michael Verde Millwork of Bridgehampton has joined Riverhead Building Supply, RBS announced this week.Described as a talented artist and well-known craftsman, Mr. Verde is a custom manufacturer of architectural millwork, doors, cabinetry and moldings. Among other places, examples of his work can be found at the Parrish Art Museum in Water Mill, where his oversized doors “make both a functional and artistic statement,” according to Riverhead Building Supply.
Mr. Verde’s manufacturing shop includes advanced priming equipment, a computer-controlled router, and Weinig-brand molders. His doors are said to be known for their stability and longevity thanks to a meticulous and proprietary construction process.
The president of RBS, John Callahan, said the company is “pleased to expand our custom craftsmanship capabilities to provide a full menu of options for our builders and their clients.”
Riverhead Building Supply is a family-owned and -operated retail lumber and building materials dealer that has been in business for more than 65 years.
