Let There Be Light!

Returning for its fourth year, the Bonac Festival of the Lights — hosted by the East Hampton Masonic Lodge, Star of the East No. 843 — will return to East Hampton High School, with over 70 holiday-themed light displays dotting the family-friendly, walk-through display, Friday and Saturday nights, November 29 through December 21, from 5:30 to 8 p.m.

Tickets are $6 for children, $12 for adults, and popcorn and steaming cups of hot chocolate will be available to purchase.

To bring even more holiday cheer to the community, Bonac Festival of Lights will partner with the East Hampton Student Association to offer a holiday celebration in the high school cafeteria on Friday, December 6, including musical performances by the music department, holiday crafts, food trucks and a visit from Jolly Ol’ Saint Nick and Mrs. Claus. Fire departments also will compete that evening for the coveted firetruck decorating competition trophy.

Enjoying Bonac Festival of Lights is to be a part of a season of giving — the events support the Star of the East Lodge’s annual scholarship program, which has given over $23,000 to graduating seniors.
