This new 10,000-square-foot house constructed by Bridgehampton-based Gavalas Builders at 376 Daniels Lane in Sagaponack recently snared $15.5 million—down $5 million from its original $20 million asking price in March.
Completed in 2012, the seven-bedroom, 12-bathroom traditional estate sits on 1.5 acres abutting a reserve just one block from both the ocean and Ira Rennert’s 43,000-square-foot compound on 63 acres, which is valued at $200 million. That gives it an unobstructed view of the ocean over farmland.
The home features a finished lower level, seven fireplaces, a heated pool and tennis court. The deal reportedly closed on September 24, so the sale has not yet been recorded, and the buyer is unknown.
The property was built by its Realtor: Alan Schnurman of Saunders Realty developed a total of eight lots on 17 acres of Sagaponack land, this being one of them.
