Dianne K. LeVerrier has been appointed brokerage manager of Sotheby's International Realty's Bridgehampton office. She will succeed Debra Reece, who will transition into her new role as brokerage manager of the company’s Palm Beach, Florida, operations.

Ms. LeVerrier has 15 years' worth of experience litigating land use, real estate and environmental matters. From 2013 to 2015, she was a partner at Jordan & LeVerrier P.C. in New York, where she worked closely with Sotheby’s and its agents on various transactions and successfully represented the company in litigation matters. She founded the LeVerrier Law firm in East Hampton in 2006 to provide representation in land use, environmental and tort cases.

“With Dianne LeVerrier’s knowledge of real estate and zoning, land use and environmental issues in the Hamptons, she will be a strong leader for our Bridgehampton operations,” Kathy Korte, president and chief executive officer of Sotheby’s, said in a press release.

Previously, Ms. LeVerrier was an associate at Weitz & Luxenberg P.C. in New York, where she represented Suffolk County and the Suffolk County Water Authority in federal, multi-district litigation. She began her career in 1995 as an environmental consultant with En-Consultants Inc. in Southampton. She is a member of the Suffolk County Bar Association and former co-chair of the Suffolk County Bar Association Environmental Law Committee.

“I am excited to represent the Sotheby’s International Realty brand with integrity,” Ms. LeVerrier stated in the release. “I look forward to leveraging my in-depth knowledge of Hamptons real estate, zoning and environmental issues to assist the sales associates affiliated with our offices in further growing their businesses.”
