Award-Winning Montauk Modern Sells for $9.15 Million

A new, award-winning modern waterfront home in Montauk designed by lauded architecture firm Mojo Stumer Associates has sold for $9.15 million with a last asking price of $10 million.

On 1 acre at 26 South Elroy Drive with ocean views, the custom residence on Fort Pond offers 8,620 square feet of living space spread among three levels, with six bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and a half-bath.

The main level, with an open floor plan connecting all living spaces, has ceiling heights ranging from 10.5 to 11.5 feet. The gourmet kitchen features top-of-the-line Sub Zero and Wolf appliances, custom millwork cabinetry, and engineered quartz and porcelain countertops, according to the listing, which states, “This culinary haven is ideal for hosting gatherings and creating unforgettable dining experiences.”

The main level continues with a secondary sitting area, a separate den, and an en suite bedroom with private access to a southern-facing patio.

The primary is on the second floor, with a double-sided gas fireplace, custom built-ins, ocean views from a private terrace, a spa-like bath and high-end fixtures. The new owner is Barroway Family LP, according to Suffolk Vision Inc., which reports the deal closed on November 12, 2024.
