Last summer, Farrell Building Company purchased 145 Meadowlark Lane in Bridgehampton for $5.6 million and put it back on the market for $15 million with plans to build a new modern residence in place of the 1980s home that once stood on the nearly 1-acre property.
That preconstruction price tag was later raised to $18 million, and on August 20 this year, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., the sale of 145 Meadowlark Lane closed for $17.2 million.
The residence has 9,835 square feet of interior living space, inclusive of the finished lower level. There are eight bedrooms, seven full bathrooms, and three half-baths. The open floor plan features a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances and a center island; a living room with a fireplace; and a formal dining room.
The first-floor master suite has a luxurious bathroom, his-and-hers closets, and a private slider to a covered outdoor porch, according to the listing.
The second floor has a second master suite, four en-suite guest bedrooms, laundry, and three private terraces. The lower level includes a recreation room, a theater, a gym, and a half-bath, in addition to two bedrooms and a full bathroom.
An elevator serves all floors and the roof deck, and a cabana bath and bluestone patio complement the 20-by-40 heated gunite pool. There’s also a three-car garage.
Susan Ratcliffe had the listing for Brown Harris Stevens.
The new owner is Rumpelstiltskin Holdings LP.
