A Bridgehampton traditional on 2.2 acres down a quiet cul-de-sac recently sold for $7.19 million, only for the new owner to turn around and list it for $8.5 million — and it’s in contract already.

The 5,000-square-foot home at 100 Trelawney Road changed hands on October 22, according to The Real Estate Report Inc. Chris Burnside of Brown Harris Stevens represented the buyer in that transaction, and the buyer then immediately put the house back on the market with Burnside as the listing agent.

Michael Davis Construction of Wainscott built the home, which comes with a 45-foot-by-18-foot heated gunite pool and a Har-Tru tennis court. It has five fireplaces, including one in the grand living room. Also among the shared living spaces are a formal dining room, a study, and an open kitchen. Terraces and covered patios offer outdoor entertaining spaces. It has “all the classic hallmarks of a classic mansion,” the listing states.

The home was completed in 1998 for Mary and Michael Weiner, according to town property records, and the buyer was Michael Fitzsimmons, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.
