Town and Country Real Estate recently welcomed two new additions to its sales team: Corey Sherman of East Quogue and Jennifer Rutherfurd of Quogue.

Both licensed real estate salespeople have joined the firm’s Westhampton Beach office.

A Forest Hill native, Mr. Sherman grew up summering in Southampton. He was a Manhattan resident for more than 25 years and he received a Bachelor in Business Administration there from Baruch College. He has served as a marketing and technology executive at various Fortune 500 companies including IBM, Canon, Accenture and the United States Tennis Association. He recently renewed his real estate license, which he first earned in 1988.

Ms. Rutherfurd has a background in real estate investments and project management, having developed projects in Manhattan, the Hamptons, Martha’s Vineyard and Fairfield County. She is well-versed in staging, social media and aesthetics, and is passionate about helping first-time homebuyers, Town & Country noted. She has been a year-round resident of Quogue for more than 25 years.

An interesting dynamic is stirring in the Hamptons vacation-rental market. Although there has been an unprecedented rise in short-term rentals and the aftershocks of the COVID-19 pandemic linger, it has been a bumper crop year for Wall Street, interest rates have remained steady and a new breed of demanding customer is emerging. Despite it all, the Hamptons vacation-rental market remains as ... 19 Jun 2025 by Joseph Finora
