Douglas Elliman Real Estate announced on Wednesday, March 15, the firm’s top performing agents and teams in the Hamptons in preparation for its annual awards event, The Ellies.

The Ellies, which will be held in early April in Montauk, will honor top performers in the Bridgehampton, East Hampton, Hampton Bays, Montauk, Quogue, Sag Harbor, Sagaponack, Southampton and Westhampton Beach offices.

In the Hamptons, Douglas Elliman saw a nearly 20 percent jump in sales volume over 2016 figures. Nationwide, the firm’s total sales volume was $26.1 billion, up 6 percent.

Douglas Elliman represented three of the top-five recorded transactions on the East End last year, according to the firm, which also states that its offices west of the Shinnecock Canal closed nearly $312 million in business, which comprised more sales volume for that area than its next four competitors combined.

For the Hamptons region, the Top Individual prize based on gross commission income was awarded to Erica Grossman from the Southampton office.

The Hamptons award for Top Team by gross commission income went to The Enzo Morabito Team of the Bridgehampton office.

The Enzo Morabito Team was named the Top Performer (individual or team) by number of transactions for the Hamptons.

Angelica Cocha, who is based in the Hampton Bays office, was named Elliman’s Rookie of the Year for the Hamptons.

The Pinnacle Club Award winners, presented to agents and teams who made more than $1 million in 2017, included the Enzo Morabito Team, Erica Grossman, the Atlantic Team, Michaela Keszler, The Raphael Avigdor Team, Lynda Packard and Terry Thompson.

“In a year of incredible growth for Douglas Elliman in the region, it’s wonderful to be able to celebrate and identify the achievements of the individual agents who made it possible,” said Regional Vice President of Sales Carl Benincasa in a statement. “Elliman dominated the Hamptons market in 2017 and the sky’s the limit in 2018.”

“I am incredibly proud of Carl Benincasa and our entire East End team,” said Scott Durkin, Douglas Elliman’s president and chief operating officer. “This past year marked a new level of success and we look forward to continuing to provide all of our agents with the best in class technology, marketing and public relations to help them reach even greater heights in 2018.”
