The explosion of home and land prices on the South Fork, the health of the current market, and tips for listing your home for sale or rent are among topics to be discussed by leading East End real estate brokers during the Tom Twomey Lecture Series on Thursday, June 15.
Brokers participating in the panel are Diane Saatchi, the head of the Saatchi Team at the Hamptons real estate firm Saunders and Associates, John Gicking, the senior director of sales in the Hamptons for Compass, and Peter Turino, the president of Brown Harris Stevens of the Hamptons. The event will be moderated by Jim Oxnam and hosted by Rick Gilbert, who are both salesmen at Brown Harris Stevens of the Hamptons.
The Tom Twomey Series, created in 2015 in memory of the chairman of the library’s board of managers, will continue every third Thursday of the month through October with discussions on topics including architecture, the environment, local government and food and wine.
The panel will be held at the East Hampton Library in the Baldwin Family Lecture Room from 6 to 7 p.m., followed by a Q&A session. Admission is free; reservations are not required. For more information, visit tomtwomeyseries.org
