A 3.4-acre East Hampton estate built in 2001 sold earlier this year for $16.5 million, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.
The address is 257 Further Lane, and it was last asking $23.9 million. Back in 2019, it was seeking $28 million.
Connecticut-based architecture firm Shope Reno Wharton designed the 11,300-square-foot traditional with seven bedrooms, seven full bathrooms and two half-baths. It also includes a large gourmet kitchen with a dining area, both formal and casual living rooms, an office, and a separate two-bedroom living area for staff.
The master bedroom has a dressing room, a bathroom and an office area, and all of the guest rooms are en-suite.
On the grounds, find a heated gunite pool and a tennis court.
The estate also comes with control of 9.6 acres of an agricultural reserve that is 45 acres in total.
The deal closed in late February, according to The Real Estate Report Inc., but the deed transfer was not reported until last month.
The Petrie Team at Compass represented the seller.
