In the Georgica section of East Hampton Village, a 2.6-acre estate with a scenic easement on one side and a reserve on another has sold for $7 million.

The 10,000-square-foot shingled gambrel residence has eight bedrooms and 8.5 bathrooms in the main house and guest wing. Through the columned front entrance, guests enter a bright home with whitewashed wood floors and white walls and ceilings that reflect light throughout, according to the Saunders & Associates listing.

A two-story great room has a beamed cathedral ceiling, a wood-burning fireplace, a loft with custom shelving, and French doors to a rear patio. The formal dining room likewise has a wall of French doors to the grounds. The kitchen with stainless steel appliances includes a breakfast area and media lounge. Off the kitchen, a brick patio leads to the heated 40-foot gunite pool with a poolside patio.

Two en-suite bedrooms round out the main floor.

Upstairs, the master suite with a vaulted ceiling overlooks the pool area and has a marble bath with double vanity and spa tub. Three additional bedroom suites share the upper level.

A gallery from the great room connects the main house with the guest wing, which offers two bedroom suites, a living room, a den/media room, a kitchen and a separate brick patio. There is a four-car garage, and the spacious property provides ample room for a pool house and tennis. Ocean beaches and village amenities are just minutes away.

Saunders & Associates made the sale. It was last listed for $7.95 million.

The sellers were N. Hilton Rosen and Sharon DiPietro and the new owner is David Bieber, according to The Real Estate Report.
