In Hampton Bays, 18 Cedar Point Road, located east of the Shinnecock Canal and fronting Peconic Bay, has sold for $3.9 million.

Second-generation builder Dean DeMar, the owner of DeMar Construction, originally built the home for his personal use in 2010. It features geothermal heat and air conditioning, a water filtration system, foam insulation, a backup generator and recessed LED lighting.

On 0.45 acre, the house is approximately 5,000 square feet.

The exterior trim and molding are made of PVC and the house is prepped for a 10-kilowatt solar array. A boat can be moored there with an application to Southampton Town, according to the Corcoran listing.

The house has six bedrooms and four bathrooms, a chef’s kitchen and spacious dining and entertaining areas. The foyer and living room have a double-height ceiling, and the first-floor master suite has a wall of windows to view the Peconic.

The waterside pool is heated and the outdoor cooking area has ample seating.

According to Corcoran, this property has historically been rented for the season for $280,000.

Associate broker Holly Dunham had the listing.

Mahesh and Venkatalakshmi Bikkina and Lakshmi Kuchipudi are the new owners, according to The Real Estate Report Inc.

The last listing price was $4.5 million.
